Paramount Fitness Corp announced a voluntary recall of its Leg Curl Machines because the user’s hand can get caught between the weights and frame of the machine, causing cuts and finger amputations.
To date, the company has received three reports of injury which include two finger-crushing injuries and one amputation.
Paramount Fitness PL2100 leg curl machines with serial numbers PL21-9301-000 through PL21-9510-099 are included in the recall.
Consumers are advised to stop using the fitness machines immediately and to contact the company for a free repair kit.
