Ceiling-Mounted Light Fixture, have been voluntarily recalled by Dolan Designs, in cooperation with the CPSC, due to a fire and electric shock hazard caused by a defect in the fixture’s socket.
To this date, Dolan Designs has received two complaints of defective fixtures but there have been on reports of injury reported.
This recall involves round ceiling-mounted light fixture sold in several finishes. The recall involves the following models: 502-30, 522-09, 522-14, 522-18, 522-22, 522-30, 522-32, 522-60, 522-78, 5332-133, 5372-66, 5372-78, 5382-20, 5382-55, 5382-100 and 5392-20. The brand name and model number are on the inside of the fixture pan. Photos of the recalled fixtures can be viewed on the CPSC Web site.
Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled light fixtures and to return them to the store of purchase for a free replacement fixture or contact the company for a free in-home repair. Dolan Designs can be contacted at (855) 553-6526.
