I am a partner at Langdon & Emison, with our primary office near Kansas City, Missouri. Langdon & Emison tries cases across the country and has additional office locations in North Kansas City and St. Louis, Missouri (by appointment only).
My practice focuses almost exclusively on catastrophic injury and death cases, as well as class action and other complex tort cases, including automobile defects, railroad crossing accidents (train accidents), trucking accidents, dangerous or defective drugs, defective medical devices, and a variety of other cases.
I am a trial lawyer. I along with Langdon & Emison's other attorneys, actually try cases in courtrooms across the country. We have tried cases against some of the largest corporations in the world, including all major auto manufacturers, railroad companies and trucking companies. We have also taken on major pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
The lawyers at Langdon & Emison are recognized nationally as some of the very best attorneys in our field. I and other L&E attorneys have authored legal articles on products liability and other issues and have presented at seminars and other educational events teaching other attorneys the strategies learned in trials and cases across the country.
Our clients, cases and attorneys have been featured in the national media, such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, major network newscasts, CNN, Fox News and more. Our experience, focus, and resources allow our lawyers to maximize the recovery for our clients, with total verdicts and settlements exceeding half a billion dollars.
Before joining Langdon & Emison, I served as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Missouri Law Review and served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable William Ray Price, Jr. of the Supreme Court of Missouri.
I currently serve on the Board of Governors for the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA) and am president of the Lafayette County, Missouri bar association. I am also involved in a number of additional legal organizations, including Injury Board, the Attorney's Information Exchange Group (AIEG), American Association for Justice (AAJ), and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA).
