Vanessa Beltrán-Ortiz

Vanessa Beltrán-Ortiz is a Puerto Rico native that moved to Greensboro, North Carolina in 2015. She is fluent in Spanish, as this is her native tongue. Vanessa graduated summa cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Psychology, and was awarded the “Gran Premio del Rector” for academic excellence. She then studied at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law, from which she graduated summa cum laude, earning her Law degree in 2009. She was awarded "Puerto Rico Judiciary Association Award” for academic achievements and leadership.
