I’ve written before on dog bites and the potential recovery that can be had for those injured by the dogs. However, a recent experience has reminded me of this important area of the law and something that individuals need to know about. Recently I walked outside to find part of my privacy fence broke and huge hole dug into two diffent areas of the yard. I was trying to figure out what it was, when I heard a dog barking at me from my new neighbors home. I peaked over the fence and it was a pit bull. Needless to say, this was quite disconcerting given I have young children who frequently play outside. I wound up concreting under my privacy fence and talking with the owners of the dog to let them know, nothing better happen to my children (the protective dad coming out in me)
