A judge said on April 26, 2006, that he will approve a $64 million national
class action settlement for parents who bought Paxil, once a blockbuster drug,
for their teens who were struggling with depression.
Sales of Paxil specifically for minors totaled more than $500 million.
GlaxoSmithKline has repeatedly been accused of not revealing all that it knew
about the drug,
This goes to show that GlaxoSmithKline was most likely less than honest about Paxil’s effect on a fetus while in the mother’s womb. We are currently investingating these claims.
