This past Wednesday and Thursday saw accidents in northern Minnesota that killed two. A pickup driver was killed when his truck hit a semi at a intersection off of Highway 32 in Polk County. A head-on collision between two pickups in Hubbard County caused the second death.
The death is early start of a sad new total for 2009. This followed 2008 which was projected to have 424 deaths a drop from 510 deaths in 2007.
