Sharp Electronics Corporation in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the recall of about 9,000 LCD televeisions. The televisions have neck support that can break and cause the TV to tip over posing risk to consumers.

The recall involves Sharp’s 32-inch LCD TV’s with the model number LC-32SB28UT (List of recalled serial numbers here). They were sold by various merchants nationwide from March until August of this year for about $550.

Consumers in possession of the recalled televisions should immediately contact Sharp for a free replacement neck support.

No incidents or injuries have been reported at this time, but consumers should exercise extra caution around these televisions until replacement support has been installed.
