I’ve had several cases within the last couple of months where uninsured motorist coverage has been very important. I advise everyone to carry more than the minimum’s of uninsured motorist coverage. I recently saw where 1 in 3 Oklahoman’s drive without insurance. Further, most people in Oklahoma only carry the minimum of $25,000.00 per person $50,000.00 aggregate per accident. In the case of a severe injury, the $25,000.00 will not even broach the cost of medical bills. Essentially, the case of a bad injury, the only way to stave off bankruptcy is with uninsured motorist coverage.
