Two people were injured Thursday, October 19th in a single-vehicle crash in Sacramento.
The wreck occurred at about 3 a.m. near the intersection of Del Paso and El Centro roads.
Police said a car was likely speeding when the driver lost control, leading the vehicle to hit the center divide.
The driver and passenger were injured, officials said. The road was shut down in the area until about 6 a.m.
A recent study has shown that speeding incrementally increases the risk of death or serious injury when an accident
