Two men were taken to Harborview Medical Center early this morning after a two-car collision on the Alaskan Way Viaduct. Two cars crashed into each other in the viaduct’s southbound lanes near Pier 48, with one of the vehicles striking a guardrail just south of the Columbia Street onramp. A pedestrian walking on a street below the viaduct was struck by falling debris.
The pedestrian may have claims against one or both drivers. When two people cause an accident, there is a possibility that they will be jointly and severally liable for the injured person’s damages.
