A rollover crash on southbound I-25 at the Motor City Curve, early this morning, has left a man seriously injured.
The man, 31, who remains unidentified pending family notification, was taken to Memorial Hospital Center and listed in critical and unstable condition, with life threatening injuries to his head, face and chest, Colorado Springs Police said.
The man, the only occupant of the vehicle, was ejected in the crash. Officials are investigating but say it appears high speed and possibly alcohol were both factors.
According to the accident report, the vehicle left the roadway and traveled 500 feet, rolling over several times before striking and disabling Colorado Department of Traffic camera pole.
