On February 7, a 30-year-old woman and 7-year-old girl were crossing Highway 105 at approximately 7:30 p.m. when they were struck by a vehicle heading south toward Westport. The vehicle did not stop and continued driving southbound. The woman was listed in good condition, however, the girl was still in serious condition as of February 9. A Hoquiam man turned himself in and is being held on suspicion of felony hit and run.
Despite the criminal charge, there still may be insurance coverage. A personal injury attorney should be consulted right away to preserve the victims’ rights.
