A metal shelving unit fell from a vehicle onto northbound Interstate 5 causing a five-car collision that killed one person. The crash occurred on August 18th at approximately 11:15 a.m. on I-5 at near Northeast 175th Street in Shoreline, said State Patrol Trooper Kelly Spangler. Though officials were asking for the public’s help in locating the vehicle that lost its load, Spangler said the driver contacted police that same day at 12:05 p.m.
Each of the injured persons, not only the family of the deceased driver, may have a claim against the negligent driver or another one of the parties involved in the accident. It is important that drivers who are injured in multiple vehicle accidents contact a personal injury attorney to find out all remedies that are available to them.
