$65,000,000.00 Lawsuit Over a Pair of Pants???

Reports circulated last week regarding a lawsuit filed in Washington, D.C. by a judge (who is also an attorney) against a dry cleaner for a missing pair of pants. The $65 million lawsuit over a pair pants is an awful example of how some members of our profession, unfortunately, abuse our legal system and then, as a result, give lawyers a bad reputation.
