Pecoware Co., in cooperation with the U.S. Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a voluntary recall of its children’s metal necklaces due to high levels of lead.
Lead is toxic if ingested by small children and can cause adverse health effects.
The recalled necklaces include a cat with silver and pink rhinestones, a heart and lock with pink rhinestones, a silver colored heart with a rhinestone crown, and a silver colored lock and key. The necklaces hang from silver colored chains.
Consumers are advised to take the recalled necklaces away from small children immediately and to contact Pecoware to arrange a full refund.
