A one day production of Chocolate flavored Fiber One 90-Calorie Bars have been recalled by General Mills due to a labeling issue. The product may have been incorrectly packaged and therefore may contain ingredients not listed on the label, which can be harmful to those with food sensitivity.

To this date, there have been no reports of illness or allergic reactions in association with this recall. There is however a chance that the possibility of an unlabeled allergen makes this a Class 1 Recall.

The recall involves 5-count boxes of Chocolate Flavored Fiber One 90-Calorie Bars with a “Better if Used By Date” of 19MAY2012BV

The agency advises those with a known peanut allergy and those who are unsure if they have a peanut allergy to not consume these products. Consumers should contact General Mills for a refund or replacement product.
