A girl, 5, injured in a bus accident is doing well and listed in good condition at University Hospital after she ran into the path of a Centro bus and was struck, on Tuesday morning.
The girl was walking to her school bus stop at the 1400 block of Midland Avenue, on Tuesday morning with her three siblings, when she ran out into the street in front of the bus, according to Syracuse Police.
According to witness account of the accident, the driver had no time to react and was unable to avoid hitting the child because she ran out from behind a utility pole and a tree.
She is being treated for a broke left thigh bone and cuts and scrapes to her elbows and head, but she is doing well and expected to be okay.
