H&M, working with the CPSC, announced a recall of Children’s Water Bottles, because the sprout can break off, posing a choking hazard to young children. The items were sold nationwide at H&M stores.
To date, there has been one report of incident that occurred in England but there have been no injury reports. These same items were previously recalled in Sept. 2012.
Consumers are urged to discontinue using the recalled water bottles immediately and to contact H&M to request a prepaid mailer to return the item. Once the company receives the returned bottle, consumers will receive a refund and a $25 H&M gift card.
For more information, please contact H&M at (855) 466-7467 or visit their website at www.hm.com and click on United States, then Customer Service at the bottom of the page and Recalled Items from the left column for more information.
