CPSC, working in cooperation with Mr. Christmas Ltd., issued a voluntary recall of mugs due to the bucket handle which can spark when used in the microwave, which can pose a fire risk.
The mugs, sold exclusively at Home Depot stores have not been associated with any report injuries or incidents, to date.
The recall involves orange ceramic mugs that are 4.5 inches tall. The words “The Home Depot,” “Homer’s All-purpose bucket” can be found on the front.
Consumers are urged to discontinue use of the recalled mugs and to return them to the nearest Home Depot store to receive a refund.
