Building toy playsets were recalled by Infinitoy due to a choking/aspiration hazard to children posed by a hat on the figure which can detach. The recall is being conducted in cooperation with the CPSC.
This recall involves Super Safari Set model #30025 and the Deluxe Circus Train Set model #30040. Photos of the recalled toys can be viewed on the CPSC Website for reference.
To this date the agency is aware of one incident in which a young child choked, but the toy was removed and no injuries were reported. The toys were sold at specialty stores, as well as online at popular merchants including Amazon.com from September 2012 through September 2013.
Consumers are urged to remove the small plastic hat from the recalled items and to exchange it for a free replacement figure. For more information, consumers are directed to call the company directly at (888) 558-0933 or to visit them online at www.infinitoy.com and look for the Safety/Recall section that is located on the bottom of the page.
