A man was killed in a car accident in Jefferson County last night. The accident happened in Rodman on County Route 69.
Deputies say three people were traveling west on County Route 69 in a 1999 Ford Expedition, when the SUV went off the road and flipped over several times, throwing two people from the vehicle. One person died; the other two were taken to Samartian Medical Center.
The accident is still being investigated by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. The cause of the accident is not known. It is unknown if the occupants of the vehicle were wearing seat belts. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
