Pottery Barn Kids has issued a voluntary recall of the bed canopy included in the Madeline Bedroom Collection, in the U.S. and Canada, because the connectors to the top rails of the canopy can separate allowing components to fall, posing an injury hazard.
To date, the company has received 33 reports of the canopy falling. One incident required stitches for a cut and nine other reports involved minor cuts, bruises and/or lumps.
The recalled canopy is included in the Madeline Bedroom Collection; although it was previously sold as a separate item. It’s comes in antique white, blade green, Sun Valley blade green and other colors as well.
