Mattel has had to recall 9 million Chinese-made toys due to safety hazards associated with the toys. Polly Pockets and Batman action figures are just two of the recalled toys and their risks involve the children swallowing tiny magnets or even lead paint poisoning.
Warnings have been made by the Consumer Product Safety Commission to parents to advise them to check their children’s toys and to be sure that their children were not playing with any of the recalled toys.
So far, it has been said by government officials that there have been no report of injuries, but that it is better to be safe than sorry.
If your child or a child that you know has been injured by any of these recalled toys then contact the office of Reich and Binstock today for an evaluation.
