HealthCo., working with the CPSC, issued a voluntary recall of motion-activated outdoor lights, in the U.S. and Canada, because the fixture wiring can energize the entire surface and fittings, posing an electrical hazard.

There have been no reports or incidents in connection with this recall, to date. But consumers are urged to stop using the lights and to turn off the power before removing the light from the fixture. The company should be contacted for return and exchange instructions.

The recalled units were sold at large improvement retailers nationwide from December 2006 to July 2013. To see if you own a unit involved in this recall, visit the CPSC Website where you can find the affected model numbers.

For additional information about this recall, consumers should contact the company directly by calling (855) 704-5438 or by visiting their website at www.heath-zenith.com.
