Gemini Manufacturing, in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a voluntary recall of power adaptor/chargers due to a burn hazard risks if the device overheats.
To date, the company has received one injury report in which a consumer suffered a burn to the hand. Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled items and to discard of them immediately.
The recalled adaptor/chargers are used to charge cell phones and other electronic products with the model number ADCP3-1000. The adaptors were distributed as a free promotional giveaway at nationwide tradeshows from October 2013 to April 2014.
