The winter can be a dangerous time to be out walking. Slipping on the snow and ice can lead to a big fall and injuries.

Walk slowly
Take small steps
Keep both hands freeIF YOU BEGIN TO FALL:
Relax
Drop what you’re carrying
Break fall with thigh, hip, and shoulder
Bend head forward
The best piece of advice is to watch where you are walking. Following these simple tips should help you to stay safe and prevent injuries.
