Sensio Inc. is voluntarily recalling slow cookers, because the control panel can overheat and melt, posing a fire hazard.
Sixty reports of the control panels smoking, melting and sparking have been reported to the company, to date. In three incidents the unit caught fire.
The recall only involves Bella Kitchen 4-quart slow cookers with model number WJ-5000DE and date codes 0907 or 0909. They were sold exclusively at Kohl’s department stores.

Sharp LCD-TVs Recalled
Sharp Electronics Corp. is recalling 32-inch LCD-TVs because the neck of the unit can break and cause the TV to tip-over posing a risk of injury.
No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
Sharp 32-inch LCD-TVs with model number LC-32SB28UT is included in the recall. The CPSC News Release includes photos and a list of serial number ranges to help you determine if your TV is affected by this recall.
