IKEA, working in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), has issued a nationwide recall of IKEA 365 + SÄNDA track systems because the ground connection is defective and poses an electric shock hazard.
To this date, there have been no reports of incidents or injuries involving this recall.
This recall involves white, straight track systems that are used to hold and power light fixtures. The affected model numbers are 00149242 and 10149246 and have supplier number 21338 and date stamp 1134 through 1213.
Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled track and to return them to any IKEA store for a replacement or refund. For more information, consumers can contact IKEA directly by calling (888) 966-4532. Alternatively, they can also be visited online at www.ikea-usa.com.
