Bravo Sports has initiated a voluntary trampoline recall, in cooperation with the CPSC, due to a fall hazard if the products are incorrectly assembled, which would allow the top rails and legs to break during use resulting in a partial collapse.
The company has received 247 reports of the top rails of the trampoline bending or breaking during normal use, including four injuries.
The recall involves AirZone and Variflex trampolines with the following model numbers: 137083 (with wheels), 137536, 137683, 138088, 138467, 138472, 138489, 139275, 139283, 139284, 139300 and 139706.
Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled trampolines and to contact Bravo Sports for instructions on how to inspect the products. Any items found to be damaged due to assembly errors will be replaced free of charge.
