The case, according to experts, is expected to become the largest-ever sexual abuse case against a single national organization. Tens of thousands of accusers are expected to be part of the bankruptcy settlement with the Boy Scouts.
Evidence has been uncovered revealing that since its inception the Boy Scouts attracted pedophiles into its ranks of adult leaders. The organization even went so far as to keep secret files of men known or suspected of committing sexual abuse. Yet it wasn’t until the Boy Scouts were faced with financial ruin that they publicly acknowledged the sexual abuse against young scouts within their ranks.
For 103 years the Boy Scouts of America have submitted an annual report to Congress summarizing its recent activities. Never in any of those reports was it disclosed that the Boy Scouts were magnets for thousands upon thousands of pedophiles.
