A male pedestrian suffered critical injuries in Kailua Wednesday night when struck by an automobile in front of Bank of Hawaii, Kailua Branch. Police said the automobile accident happened in the 600 block of Kailua Road on Oahu at about 8:30 PM. The man was taken in critical condition to the Queen’s Medical Center. Several pedestrians have been injured recently by automobiles along Oahu streets. Is there an epidemic going on? Is this the result of cell phone use? Is it due to drunk drivers? Every Hawaii personal injury attorney want to know what the source of these cases is and what can be done to stop these alarming reports? We hate to see these tragedies unfold as grieving families come to seek justice. We hope that in the future they can be prevented or at least the number reduced.
If you know about the facts of this or other pedestrian injuries please let me know.
